This page describes how the website is managed with regard to the processing of the personal data of users who consult it. The notice regarding the online collection of personal data illustrates, in accordance with the principle of transparency, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection.

Purposes of the Processing of Collected Data

The User’s Data is collected to enable the Data Controller to provide its services, as well as for the following purposes:

  • Direct marketing
  • Interaction with live chat platforms
  • Visit monitoring
  • Response to information requests
  • Protection against cyber fraud

Legal basis

The legal bases for the processing are the need to respond to the Data Subject’s requests, to provide the Data Subject with the requested services, and the Data Controller’s legitimate interest.

Mandatory or optional nature of the provision of Data

Please note that, taking into account the purposes of the processing as illustrated above, the provision of data is mandatory and any failure to provide it, whether partial or inaccurate, may result in the inability to respond to the requests submitted or to use the services.

In the event that data is provided by completing forms containing asterisks:

  • The provision of data marked with an asterisk is necessary, and failure to provide it will make it impossible for the Data Controller to provide what has been requested or in any case to manage the requests
  • The provision of data not marked with an asterisk is optional: failure to provide it will still allow what has been requested to be provided.

Data voluntarily provided by the User

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of email to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

Recipients or categories of recipients

Personal data will be processed by the Data Controller and by the persons directly authorized by it. The data may be disclosed to the following categories of third parties:

  • Consultants, professionals and service providers, necessary for the indicated purposes, who process the data as Data Processors, with whom an agreement pursuant to art. 28 GDPR has been entered into
  • Banks and other independent Controllers, whose processing is necessary for the indicated purposes
  • Public bodies and other public authorities, to which disclosure is required by law or by order of the Authority

The data will not be disseminated.

Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
(For Italy: Italian Data Protection Authority).

Rights of Data Subjects

The rights of access to personal data, rectification or erasure thereof, restriction of processing, objection, and portability pursuant to Articles 15-20 of European Regulation 679/2016 may be exercised at any time by sending an email request to privacy@compet-e.it.

The exercise of the data subject’s rights may be delayed, restricted or excluded in the cases provided for by Art. 2-undecies of Legislative Decree 196/03.

Existence of Automated Decision-Making

The processing does not involve automated decision-making.

The Data Controller will not transfer personal data to a third country or to an international organization, except with regard to those third-party services/components “embedded” in the website, as referred to in the paragraphs below together with the relevant policies on the matter.

Types of Data processed

Our company has reviewed and applies the Measure of the Data Protection Authority “Identification of simplified procedures for information notices and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies” dated 8 May 2014 – [doc. web no. 3118884] (Published in the Official Gazette no. 126 of 3 June 2014) and the European Board Guidelines 5-2020 on consent.

The processing referred to in point 2 does not concern personal data, while that referred to in point 3 is carried out by third parties.

What are Scripts, for what purposes are they used, and on what legal bases?

A script is a piece of program code used to ensure the website functions properly and interactively. This code is executed on our server or on your device. No personal data is processed through scripts.

What is a Web Beacon, for what purpose is it used, and on what legal basis?
